The Netherworld loves our Private Hudson, but Bill Paxton brought life to so many other roles. He was a humble man, grateful for the opportunities he'd been given in life, never behaving arrogantly. His death is a great loss for film lovers, for his family, and for the world as a whole.
Bill passed away suddenly from complications of heart surgery on February 25.
Bill painted the name of his then-girlfriend Louise Newbury on his armor when he played Hudson in Aliens. He went on to marry Newbury, and they had two children, James and Lydia. Bill and Louise were together until the time of his death.
Is Bill beautiful? Many people would consider him ordinary-looking. He wasn't some sort of "Hollywood hunk." His proudest role in life was likely "father." His warm smile and kind eyes aside, Bill was indeed a truly beautiful person. He was gracious, decent and real. He will be missed.
