Two Can Tango so We all Can Dance

Two people from two different traditions both united by One Love. If they can do it why can't we all accept our differences allowing others to do what we all know needs doing which is practising tolerance along with sharing our mutual respect for others?

“He’s always teasing me,” the Archbishop laughed. “Almost the first time we met—do you remember? Maybe the first time you were a little reserved, but by the second time, you were taking my cap off my head. I don’t know that you wake up in the morning and say I’m going to become a friend to the Dalai Lama.  It just happens. Scientists will come afterwards and analyze it. But I don’t think that he woke up either—at three—and said, “I think I’m going to be friends with that large-nosed black man from Africa.  I think it was a communication of the heart. When we kept quiet, our hearts discovered that they were kindred spirits.

The Dalai Lama erupted into a belly laugh and then began pointing at the Archbishop. "His face, his face," he said gesturing to the Archbishop's bald head. " He looks like a monk now doesn't he?"

One love. Two people. Two people. One love.

Hoarfrost (Tanka)

when we are obsessed
demanding knowledge of all
we lose the beauty
the hoarfrost in its glory
does not need explanation

The Worlds Economy

Economy is the basis of society. When the economy is stable, society develops. The ideal economy combines the spiritual and the material, and the best commodities to trade in are sincerity and love.Morihei Ueshiba

Moving Target (Hybronnet)

it's hard to ever save enough
when the target keeps on moving
rising bills less income makes rough
each month more spending, more losing

some folk are really shallow
they think others really like
their fields dead, not even fallow
so deep in debt, they can't get right

the rich get rich, the poor stay poor
driven down till they can't get up
some only love the golden lure
laughing at those down on their luck

some people have only money
their lack of kindness unfunny

"some people are so poor all they have is money"

There Are No Others

Pretentious persons posing as pragmatists present the rumour that they hold a moral candle by which they shine their light, their ego, therefore are better placed to perpetuate hate and division. They take sides. Sides cause division. Division causes war. War brings death to us. Politics presents a pantomime which has nothing to do whatsoever with pursuing a path paved to a better future as the litter left is not of the left nor the right nor the centre. It is the detritus fall out of playboys and girls provoking pain and discord by suggesting Nation-states override humanity, override migration when moving about the globe, our planet, our world. All is a force of nature and as the pandemic proves you cannot beat nature. We have to live with the concepts we have created whilst all the time being aware of better ways, of promoting those better ways that have nothing to do with state systems. But those systems we have created exist. We cannot simply tear them down for if we did pain, wars, conflict, division, hate, class belief, poverty, pollution would rise up like a tidal wave to crush us. All we can do is respect each other. Respect the one who doesn't share your view. Respect the one who some would have you hate. Respect those who live in palaces even though such places have no value to you. For once you start decrying the other no matter who you think the other is you are then no better than the other you deride. Respect all but stay true to you.
