There are some wonderful aspects of Thailand, but also some very problematic ones. They are technologically advanced, and many people are very spiritually inclined. However, there is the war between Thailand and Burma, and also the problem of human trafficking. I admit, I haven't been there. My son went when he was 17 with several people from his class. His overall feelings were positive, but he realized there were some serious problems too.

I have a lot of thoughts about the culture of Thailand. It is probably better if i keep them to myself.
