One Love - One World - One Life

We writhe as we wonder who attaches the division implicit in our minds. We settle for division as it excuses us from being part of a collective as we are told we are individual, or that we are somehow different from others. An individual is a thing that exists of itself, as an entity, a being therefore separate from others. This simply is untrue, incorrect, misleading and allowing. It allows us to believe we, that is the person, the person who is a character with their personality is not part of a whole. Is not black, not from this or that tribe or that nationality. Again, this is simply untrue. We know without reservation, with unassailable and empirical proof that we consist of the same building blocks that all life is made of be we white, black or ginger.

Many of us shy away from religion. We shouldn't. Many of us dislike the manner in which some religions have hijacked faith the better to control the minds of the faithful. Those who trust in the views of those restricting religion in a way those few have decided to lead them. The word religion, it's Latin source, the root word from which the word religion comes from is "Re-Ligare" which means to 'bind,' 'to connect', to be holly. And holly is connected to holiness which comes from holistic which comes from whole, being whole, to be one. The implication is that to be religious is to be one, to be part of a collective.

The people starving in so many areas of our world live in poverty. They are not them they are us. When they starve we assuage our hunger by feeding ourselves which is much like eating the food off your table but not giving any to your brothers or sisters. We are one.

There are now 2464 animals facing extinction compared to the 854 in 1998. They are not them they are part of the whole, the one. As the human species multiply so we hairless apes move into areas leaving the other animals without habitat. We build houses, industry and then agriculture to support those humans that have invaded areas fit only for the animals we have driven out. If that is not enough the human-ape then poaches or illegally traffic our fellow animals for money. Which is like selling your neighbour or cousins or family into slavery. We are one.

Being the smartest animal on this planet isn't it alarming how self-centred we are? How we neglect our intelligence in favour of short term superiority. Being one does not seem to appear on the human radar. Then comes along a pandemic, a pandemic which we will control if not beat. Nature doesn't think like humans. It doesn't react like humans. It simply responds to the imbalance humans have created. Is it any wonder some humans think nature is fighting back? We are one. When will we act as one and start channelling our knowledge then changing the conceptual world we have made as we are ruining the reality?

We are one.
