Dealing with the facts and not the fictions, ask only these questions.
Question one.
Am I going to die? The answer is not a possibility not even probability but a resounding yes, we all are going to die at some point in our lives.
Question two.
If we were to converse is either one of us dead? The speaker or the listener? If no then you are very much alive as is the speaker. Alive in the only moment that exists, now.
Following recent events, I am very much alive. I am alive now. Therefore I love now. See now. Hear now. Laugh now. Whatever may occur hasn't happened. If and when it does it will be in the present not the past nor the future. Whatever may happen, happens only in the present and at present I am alive. There is only ever the present moment.

I agree it's probable we all are going to die, but I don't think it's definite, and Einstein agrees with me. But more of that in a minute.
First, there's the so far unresolved mystery of 'personal' identity ('who' or 'what' precisely is it that is alive or dead, i.e. what is "you".)
So let's say, for the purpose of argument, that "you" = "your" consciousness, your awareness, at a particular point in time (and space, per Einstein's argument, but more on that later.)
Boiling it down some more, let's say that "you" = the integrated whole of all your thoughts, feelings, perceptions, sense perceptions hopes and dreams, at a particular point in time.
Or, to put it another way, the multi-dimensional, bio-electro-chemical potential of your neurons and nerves throughout your body and brain, at a particular point in time.
Metaphorically, the body/brain is the hardware, and the mind/consciousness is the software. And DNA is also some of the data.
So the data comprising "you", the bio-electro-chemical state of the neural net -- your consciousness -- could be captured and copied or transferred to another suitable medium, such as another living brain, for example, or even, yes, the cloud.
The technology doesn't exist today, but is by no means theoretically impossible, and there are already developments.
Eqivalent, in principle, to the above but in 'religious' terms, the transmigration of the soul via reincarnation or other means is also based on the idea of moving consciousness from medium to medium, whether brain, or DVD or magnetic recording tape, or DNA.
And then there's cyrogenics. Or relativistic time dilation effects, e.g. you travel on an interstellar voyage at a very high speed and return to Earth younger than you would have been if you'd never left.
And then there's another perspective, based on Einsteinian relativity, in which there's always a point, somewhere in this infinite Reality, from which a person who has died can be observed as a living person living their life.
The deal live elsewhen, you might say.
The multi-dimensional spacetime universe sometimes called a “block universe” contains every moment that is, ever has been and ever will be.
So no-one and nothing is ever truly lost and gone forever. You've just got to find the right spot to look from.
